Tired of the same old boring lectures and textbooks? Buckle up for YouTube University, your crash course on all things awesome, unexpected, and undeniably engaging. We’re diving headfirst into the depths of YouTube, unearthing educational gems, hidden talents, and mind-blowing content you won’t find in any classroom. So ditch the stuffy syllabus and grab your headphones — class is officially in session, and learning just got much more entertaining.
I will share some channels that are great for Graphic Design tutorials and resources of all levels. The list is in no particular order.
Design Made Simple
Graphic Designer Nick Spaorito (also known as “Logos By Nick”) provides easy to follow tutorials for Adobe users and Affinity users alike. His tutorials specialize in designing premium logos and basic logos.
Through his tutorials, he walks through specifications of the tools he uses and important essentials in the programs that support the creative flow. His tutorials are fun and engaging.
I also recommend subscribing to his email subscription for a ton of free resources to get you started. Nick also offers lifetime masterclasses on Affinity, Illustrator & Inkscape.

tutvid
One of the first YouTube tutorial channels I subscribed to when I started my graphic design career. Nathaniel Dodson of tutvid’s tutorials specializes in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with a minor of Lightroom and Video editing. tutvids’ tutorials are detailed and easy to follow. Some of his tutorials are up to 40+ minutes long!
Don’t be alarmed by the length of time. It is necessary to explain the process of graphics in detail (and go to his sponsors). I designed great graphics through his tutorials, as well as gained a better understanding of the tools he presented.

Affinity Revolution
When I transitioned from Adobe to Affinity, I needed a place to start to get familiar with the program. Ally of Affinity Revolution came to the rescue.
Her affectionate personality mixed with her fun tutorials makes AR the perfect place to start or continue your Affinity Suite journey. When you subscribe to your email, Ally will provide free resources for Affinity and a free starter course for all three programs.
Ally also offers paid courses for Photo, Designer & Publisher. I highly recommend this page for anyone who wants to learn how to use Affinity Suite.
These channels have helped continue my education in the design industry as a whole and sharpen my skills. They provide endless inspiration, especially when I’m feeling a creative block.
Are there any channels I didn’t mention that should be up here? Let me know in the comments below!
